NMR spectroscopy of molecular machines

The group studies RNA-protein and protein-protein complexes involved in RNA metabolism, regulation of gene expression and protein homeostasis. We use an integrative structural biology approach in solution, where state-of-the-art Nuclear Magnetic Resonance techniques are complemented by Small Angle Scattering, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance and biochemical data to reveal the structure and mechanism of function of molecular machines.

We are looking for PhD candidates to study:

1. Multicomponent complex involved in protein quality control and homeostasis.

2. RNP complexes involved in bacterial infections
