PhD Student in Theoretical Systems Biology

In a collaborative project involving clinical and experimental partners we investigate the mechanistic basics of T-cell-tumor interactions in melanoma and pancreatic cancer with the goal of improving and developing treatment strategies based on tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) and immunomodulatory antibodies. In the PhD project a data-driven predictive mathematical model of the TIL-mediated anti-tumor response will be developed and used to inform the definition of biomarkers and the optimization of treatment regimens.
